We're currently experiencing downtimes from Zenith Bank and Union Bank, affecting Direct Debit.
As a result, you may encounter errors when attempting to debit accounts from either bank.
What does this mean for you?
- Attempts to charge bank accounts issued by Zenith Bank and Union Bank via Direct Debit may fail.
- Direct Debit via other banks remain unaffected.
- Cards issued by both Zenith bank and Union bank are also unaffected

Bank transfers to First National Bank accounts are failing due to an ongoing issue with the bank’s internal systems.
First National Bank & GhIPSS teams have been engaged to restore the service as quickly as possible. We will provide an update as soon as it has been resolved.
Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) will be conducting planned emergency maintenance from 9:00 PM WAT on 28th September to 3:00 AM WAT on 29th September 2024.
Impact on You: During this maintenance window, there may be periods when payments from customers using GTB cards will be temporarily unavailable. However, you will still be able to accept payments from customers using other cards without any disruption.

Recently Resolved Incidents
We are experiencing delays in confirming deposits for transactions, top-ups and payments made to Paystack Titan Virtual Accounts.
We're working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will provide an update as soon as it has been resolved.
Paystack South Africa is currently experiencing technical issues resulting in timeouts on our SnapScan and Scan to Pay payment channels. The matter has been escalated to our service providers, who are actively working to resolve the issue.
To ensure a smoother checkout experience and avoid any inconvenience, we have temporarily disabled these payment options. We will reinstate them as soon as normal service is restored.
Our partner, MTN, is currently experiencing downtime on their platform, which is affecting mobile money transactions. As a result, most MTN transactions are failing. We're currently liaising with them to fix the issues and restore the service. Please bear with us.
