USPS
Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, USPS has suspended all postal exports to Canada, including the dispatch of postal items. As a result, shipments via USPS to Canada cannot be created until further notice.
EasyPost is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
Canada Post
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it began a national strike on Friday, November 15, at 12:01 a.m. ET. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike, and some post offices will be closed. Items will be delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume. See Canada Post's negotiations page for updates.

Effective November 29, 2024, the Postal Service™ will temporarily suspend international mail acceptance to Canada due to the foreign postal operator indicating that they are unable to process or deliver international mail or services because of the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Effective from 27 November 2024, many postal carriers (USPS, Australia Post, Royal Mail, etc.) will not accept mail or packages for delivery to Canada for any mail class due to the ongoing Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike. Shipments in route may also be impacted.
In order to continue shipping to Canada, please use alternate carriers such as GlobalPost, UPS, Fedex, and DHL Express.
