Identified: We are currently experiencing degraded performance with Instagram post publishing. Approximately 20% of all posts are failing to publish.

The Meta API is returning a misleading error message that incorrectly points to a problem with two-factor authentication (2FA). We understand this is confusing, as publishing is failing even for users who have 2FA correctly enabled.

We are in direct contact with Meta and are treating this as our top priority. We will provide another update as soon as we have more information.

Root Cause: Based on our investigation, this issue is originating from the Instagram API on the Meta side. We have identified an OAuthException with a specific error subcode (2207027) which indicates the media is not ready for publishing. This is a problem with the media processing on Meta's end, and it is not an issue with the Emplifi Publisher.

Our Actions: Our engineering team has confirmed the issue and is in direct communication with Meta's support team to provide all necessary details and work toward a resolution.
