Our vendor is currently experiencing a service disruption with our UCMS (JAMF) service for managing Apple devices. End users of Apple devices may experience issues installing new software, but will otherwise not see any disruption to regular use of their devices. Edge admins will not be able to access JAMF admin console at this time. We are monitoring restoration progress and will update this page as we learn more.
UBC Vancouver Network Intermittent Download Issues, April 11, 2025, 12:00 PT
Some users are reporting intermittent issues with downloading large files on UBC Vancouver networks. In some cases downloads may just stop mid-download, and not complete.
UBC IT technicians are still investigating. Anyone encountering this problem can try using the resume/restart download functionality within the web browsers to work around the issue (if the browser has this option).
The next update will be at 08:00 PT on April 14.
Some applications may be experiencing certificate issues when connecting to smtp.mail.ubc.ca. UBC IT technicians are currently investigating the issue.

Presently we are experiencing issues with Faculty and Staff Email Webmail. Technicians are investigating.
Zoom is currently experience intermittent connectivity issues. Users may not be able to connect to Zoom meetings and other service related to the zoom.us domain. The vendor is investigating the issue.
UBC IT discovered (now resolved) an issue with the new Voice Mail system not delivering recorded voice messages to email since April 10. This would have mainly impacted Exchange Online migrated users, as their voice mail is hosted in the new system.
We worked with the vendor this morning to identify the root cause and the issue has been successfully resolved. No messages were lost, and all voice messages that were recorded and queued over the previous days are now being processed for delivery to users' email.
