ParentSquare Status

Resolved: ParentSquare is operating normally. This morning, starting at about 9:00 AM ET (6:00 AM PT), an unusually large surge of traffic hit our sign-in service. Some users had slow page loads and errors on web and mobile. Some users also saw "Slow down" messages when our protective rate limits blocked their network along with the automated traffic. Page load times and error rates were back to normal by about 9:45 AM ET.

Monitoring: Starting at about 6:00 AM PT (9:00 AM ET), some users, saw "Slow down" errors and slow page loads caused by an unusually high volume of automated sign-in traffic. That traffic has dropped sharply since about 6:40 AM PT, and page speed is back to normal for most users. We're closely monitoring and preparing further protections in case the traffic returns.

Identified: We have identified the cause of the issue and are implementing a mitigation.
