Person Centred Software Status

Postmortem: This service disruption was caused by BT blocking domains provided by GoDaddy which Atlas eMAR and Atlas Central uses to resolve DNS calls. This resulted in some customers not being able to sync their devices or access Atlas Central. The incident seems to have started some time in the early hours of Saturday morning and was resolved by approximately 13:30. It was not caused by the Atlas service or our own hosting partners and affected multiple other businesses.

To mitigate any further incidents of this nature impacting the delivery of care, we recommend having a backup internet link as part of a DR solution. This can be achieved with services such as a mobile SIM or Starlink solution. We will be sending out further information in due course.

Resolved: This incident has been resolved.

Monitoring: We believe that the issues impacting Atlas Central and Atlas Device Synchronisation have now been resolved.

Identified: There is a major incident between godaddy and BT which is causing some customers to have issues accessing Atlas Central and syncing devices. Unfortunately, this is an external service to PCS which will affect many other people and businesses. We are reporting the incident to godaddy now.

Investigating: We are looking into reported of an issue with the Atlas device sync service and access to Atlas Central. Our technical teams are investigating.

Resolved: CAPA inbound prescription email service degraded performance issue has been resolved, The service is now fully operational and we are continuing to monitor the service. Please contact Person Centred Software Support should you be experiencing any issues
