Monitoring: GOES-East (GOES-19) recovery operations are continuing, and satellite data is once again being received.

The affected Raster Maps layers are updating normally.

We will continue to monitor the recovery process and provide additional updates as needed.

Identified: NOAA continues to work to restore operations of the GOES East (19) satellite. The latest update from NOAA:

The GOES-19 Safehold has been resolved and engineers are working to prepare for restart of the onboard instruments. More information on the recovery timeline will be provided when known.

• Infrared Satellite
• Visible Satellite
• Water Vapor Satellite
• Global Estimated Radar

We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as NOAA/NESDIS releases additional information.

Identified: We are aware of an ongoing outage affecting the NOAA GOES-East (GOES-19) satellite. NOAA/NESDIS has issued the following notice:

As of July 15, 5:00 p.m. EDT, GOES-East (GOES-19) is experiencing an anomaly, is not transmitting data, and restoration of service is TBD. Until service is restored, GOES-East images will not update. The GOES team is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
